10/10Īround the Fur (favorite song is Headup): I don't know what would happen if Deftones continued with the same route like Adrenaline, but Around the Fur saved them, and it's a pure Nu-Metal to me! Except for Mascara, I loved every song, and it can't get boring at all. Except for Lucky You - which I mentioned in my earlier post that it kind of reminds me like Pink Cellphone (which I disliked as well), and I don't see the point of Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event, and I didn't really like Sleep Walk - feels like an inappropriate track for the album. Self-titled (favorite song is When Girls Telephone Boys): Groovish album they've ever created! I'd probably break my neck just handbanging Hexagram, When Girls Telephone Boys, Moana, and Lovers. I would definitely rank this as their best album, but like I said, nothing can beat White Pony. It is powerful, conceptional, atmospheric, and it's a masterpiece - Diamond certification worthy! 9.5/10ĭiamond Eyes (favorite song is This Place Is Death): Respectfully, their second masterpiece! I loved every song off this album (including the bonus tracks). I just feel like other albums deserve more recognition and that they're underappreciated, compared to White Pony, like their self-titled and Saturday Night Wrist - I think those are more underrated albums, and they're self-titled should get a Platinum by now. This album is still the reason why I started to listen to Deftones, though. I still can't connect Feiticeira, I liked the Idiot Version of Teenager more than the original version, The Boy's Republic sound dull, and there are better Deftones songs to use during sex than No Ordinary Love. I feel kind of disappointed for some reason. White Pony (favorite song is Change (In the House of Flies): I don't know about the album, when I've listened to the other albums. If anyone came across this: I just want to let everyone know who's interested that I'm writing an updated review about my album rankings of Deftones's albums.
